GHS FINAL EXAM CRAM 2011
2014 Updates
- NEW Class of 2014 celly account! To join, text @GHS2014 to 23559.
You should receive 2 different automated responses confirming that you have joined. This celly account will send out text messages when there are upcoming projects and fundraisers. Parents are welcome to join the site to receive class updates as well. Additionally a function is being added so students may text this number with questions. The service is 100% free, but standard texting rates apply. You can also opt out of messages at any time by sending a simple text message (leave@GHS2014). Cel.ly is secure and private, your phone number is never exposed or shared. Here's a link to the parent letter from Celly Cofounder Russell Okamoto.
- The class of 2014 has decided to support a fundraiser for Roberta's Place which provides shelter for up to 90 days for advocacy, and counseling for women and children in and out of the shelter. Additionally, they offer client support, local transportation, assistance with filling out restraining orders, a person to accompany clients to hearings, personal necessities if needed such as: clothing, toothbrushes, shampoo, food and furniture. A legal program is pending for divorce, paternity, and custody. Roberta's Place has a 24 hour-7 day crisis line and intervention by professional advocates. Roberta's Place also has a thrift store located at this address. We will be selling domestic abuse awareness wristband bracelets for $4.00. See Ms. Clark or a 2014 student senate member for more details. Pictures will be posted soon.
- 2014 Student Leadership shirts will be ordered in the next few weeks. Let Ms. Clark know what size you would like (S,M, L).
- Additionally, 2014 student senate needs to decide which fundraiser they would like to create for winter sports games.
Class Dues
- For any sophomore that has NOT yet paid his or her class dues the cost is $50.00. A check can be written out to Grants High School and turned in to the office or Ms. Clark's room (in 434). Pay this year to avoid the additional charges the following years (Juniors pay $60.00 and dues paid senior year will be $70.00).
